FRIENDshit
Stumble along a shattered road half blind
Faces become shadows then slowly depart
Regrets are jagged on the trail behind
Discarded fragments of a porcelain heart
Cannot bind these regrets with a suture
The trail of fragments guiding me back
Into the past discarding the future
Shadows paint the porcelain black
Gather up each broken shard
Amongst shadow faces I once kissed
Fragile yet so cold and hard
Glued together in a bloody fist
The horizon is further than I can see
The shadows depart then I am alone
Following the carbon copy image of me
Ever moving to destinations unknown
Faces become shadows then slowly depart
Regrets are jagged on the trail behind
Discarded fragments of a porcelain heart
Cannot bind these regrets with a suture
The trail of fragments guiding me back
Into the past discarding the future
Shadows paint the porcelain black
Gather up each broken shard
Amongst shadow faces I once kissed
Fragile yet so cold and hard
Glued together in a bloody fist
The horizon is further than I can see
The shadows depart then I am alone
Following the carbon copy image of me
Ever moving to destinations unknown
