The Good Side of me

The good side is the one that you’ll always see
Too nice to even harm a flea
A backbone is something I do lack
Crumbling at the first hint of attack
I’m the side that stops some of the other’s out bursts
Since I wish to think the situation over first
I’m the kinder part
I’ve been with you from the start
I wish the dark side had never made herself noticed
For ever since then she’s been my primary focus
My main job is to make sure that you’ll do good in school
Forget about looking sluty or being cool
Piercings and tats?
Who needs all of that crap?
You just need to focus on your future
And being the most ingenious creature
Don’t worry about what others say
They’ll all be working for you some day
Just don’t show anyone how the other part controls you
I fear it’ll be your ruin if you do      
Stay with me and stay wary
If you tell anyone about us it may turn out scary
Just stick with me and you’ll be safe
I’m strong enough to control that wraith
She just thinks she’s biding her time
But getting out is going to be harder than she thought, she’ll soon find
