Can You Feel My Heart
You've ruined me
You would hate to know I used a word as strong and harsh as 'ruined'
For something as beautiful as what we've created together
Memories, moments, fractions of time sauderized into my brain
But I like the idea of repurposing an ugly word into something beautiful
You've ruined me
Your smile, the tired happiness in your eyes
Your overanalytical and beautiful thoughts
You've ruined me, because now, the space between us feel like galaxies
Void but filled with matter and stardust
Stringing itself across the distance between your home and mine
I'm ruined because I cant listen to certain songs while I'm cooking
Knowing you're not the one Im cooking for
I'm ruined because whenever my hips writhe under the weight of lust
Alone in my bedroom, hands dip down under silk panties
My furious attempts to quiet the raging sexual frustration are null
Because my own hands will never be as good as yours
I can not have your lips pressing against mine
Your body over me, reminding me of purpose
The reason for existence
You've ruined me in the most beautiful way I can imagine
You would hate to know I used a word as strong and harsh as 'ruined'
For something as beautiful as what we've created together
Memories, moments, fractions of time sauderized into my brain
But I like the idea of repurposing an ugly word into something beautiful
You've ruined me
