The ocean and a prince.
Oceanic scenery
Was my fondest dream
With "mystery prince" beside me
Whilst I gaze into the sea
It's almost a timeless place
With both the moon, sunset and stars
And I wish oh so quietly
That I could see his face
When I awake
I know who I wish he was
But he's not even my best friend
And we're no where near the sea
If surreal dream and unreal schemes
Are all that's meant to be
Then I'll just sigh
And walk on by
What use are dreams to me?
I saw him once again
As neutral as he always is
We talked about the sea
He's not mine
And dreams can rarely be
I saw him once again
Neutral as he always is
And I know that I'm not his
And his I'll never be
Was my fondest dream
With "mystery prince" beside me
Whilst I gaze into the sea
It's almost a timeless place
With both the moon, sunset and stars
And I wish oh so quietly
That I could see his face
When I awake
I know who I wish he was
But he's not even my best friend
And we're no where near the sea
If surreal dream and unreal schemes
Are all that's meant to be
Then I'll just sigh
And walk on by
What use are dreams to me?
I saw him once again
As neutral as he always is
We talked about the sea
He's not mine
And dreams can rarely be
I saw him once again
Neutral as he always is
And I know that I'm not his
And his I'll never be
