Truth Prevails
They tried to take me for a ride
Took me out in a small wooden boat,
In open seas they tossed me
Assuming that I wouldn't float.
But I know how to ride out a storm
And swim with big fish in the sea
Keep my head down but just above water
Til they think there's no rescuing me.
When I rose like the morning sun
Their dark secrets I soon brought to light
I exposed all those things they had done
Truth prevailed, they can't win this fight.
My word is my bond
This I vow to defend,
I will see the whole truth
Will come out at the end.

Fantastic poem! I truly appreciate your style and flow! Just a few small suggestions...
In open seas they tossed me (out) - out is in the line above, I think you can simply remove it from this line and still keep the flow of the poem.
(Assumed) that I wouldn't float. - maybe assuming instead
Keep my head down (but) just above water - you have but in the first line of stanza...maybe a comma instead
I will see the whole truth (will) come out at the end. - Will is repeated 2x here...maybe comma instead.
