Little Girl By The Window

 Little girl by the window

God's angels brighten up her day

Their love wraps around her

When she goes outdoors to play

Little girl by the window

When she hears the doves’ morn

She knows why Jesus died

So she could be reborn

Little girl by the window

Loves to gaze on the falling snow

For every tiny snowflake

Makes her eyes with wonder glow

Little girl by the window

Loves each colorful twirling leaf

She loves to dance in them

With her playful hands and feet

Little girl by the window

Sitting at the table

Loves when mommy teaches her

Stories from the Bible

Little girl by the window

Staring out the window of her room

She wonders about the man

 up there in the moon

Little girl by the window

Hears the rain pattering on the pane consoling

She's not afraid of thunder and lightening

 they're just the angels bowling

Little girl by the window

Twirls blond curls around her finger

Loves mother's lullabies

when she  hums and sings to her

Little girl by the window

Loves the stars at night that beam

Wishing upon them in childlike prayer

Jesus make come true her trustful dreams
