gazing up      
into the boundlessly wondrous  
immeasurable depths      
of god s expansive      
cosmic eye      
timelessly suspended      
in sheer wonderment      
filled with breathtaking awe      
at the lucid  heavenly sight      
of these lucidly illumined      
stunning  vast heavens above      
as two shooting stars      
suddenly go slicing by      
from south to north      
from west to east               
like two white  straight razor slices      
rip zipping lightning fast    
across this staggeringly silent  
vast  open anza borrego  
desert badland s  
seemingly timeless  
and infinite  
mystical  ancient  
starry night s sky    
i took them as a sign      
as symbolic answers      
in response      
to all my prayerful questionings      
while down below      
here at my feet      
thermal heat silently arose      
up from a tranquil desert pool  
fed by an unseen  
subterranean aquifer  
hundreds of feet below  
this seemingly otherworldly  
hard  rocky  sand covered  
desert earth s upper crust floor  
as the mystery of      
its black  nocturnal ink      
beckoned me      
to step down into      
the staggering  watery heavens      
reflected there below      
in this still  magical hour      
i let go completely      
feeling both lost and surrendered      
somewhere timeless between      
the ethereal  dissolving      
segued borders      
of seamless midnight and dawn      
where ancient answers      
seemed to be      
both lying patiently      
in wait for me      
and inwardly calling me on      
as i stepped down into      
the wonder of its mystical      
dream like watery world      
resonant ripples spread out      
concentrically around me      
across the dancing    
fluid surface screen    
of the upper  heavenly milky way s         
reflectively mirrored  fluid plane    
as i let go completely      
slowly sinking down      
chin deep  safely into      
the primal  heat      
of its nocturnal  womb like    
aquatic  thermal embrace      
where i was transcendently received      
and postnatally held      
like some cosmic  new born child      
in the all encompassing      
wordless  deep communion      
of its primal  effortless  healing bliss      
reunited once again      
within the intimate  sweet mystery      
of its cosmic all      
inseparably linked      
somewhere between      
the infinite  eternal heavens above      
and this sweet  wondrous      
temporal earth below  
where my present life s journey      
so deeply infused within them both    
so easily just slipped back into    
the stunningly wondrous    
sweet  ineffable    
soul deep  intimate embrace    
of it s boundlessly transcendent    
cosmic reunion    
where i was instantly brought back    
into the ripest      
core heart  innermost knowing communion    
with it s and my own    
purest  innate  higher truth      
where i was filled      
beyond my spilling brim      
with a most familiar      
comforting  natural peace      
and truer sense    
of more enlightened place    
filled with quickened    
infinite  tingling grace    
from my suddenly shifted    
quickened state    
of my awakened higher consciousness s    
sublimely reconnected      
experientially reminded    
spontaneously reheightened awareness      
of my own divine      
inseparable oneness      
with everything here
