Expectations

Into the abyss I stare
The ever expanding frontier
And with these words I declare
I'll be honest and sincere
With respect, I hereby swear
Whatever I have, I will share
With my time I volunteer
To show my loved ones that I care
With so many plans up in the air
Sometimes life can be unfair
To other people, don't compare
Their words may cut just like spear
Look past all of sneers and jeers
Please don't give in to despair
Even though the cliffs are sheer
Always try to keep love near
Kick it into a higher gear
Open your mind and be aware
Open your heart and lay it bare
Only the brave and bold would dare
There's no courage without fear
Allow your doubts to disappear
All the things that we hold dear
And the Truth that we revere
We must always persevere
Fill your life with joy and cheer
Leave your smile as a souvenir

THE WAY OF WISDOM

Without any consequence
Lessons are not learned
A forge is useless �
If the flames do not burn

A sword cannot be tempered
Unless it is first heated
A mind cannot expand
If doubts are not defeated

A good life cannot be lived
If all we do is complain and grumble
Balance cannot be attained
If at first we do not stumble

Without self acknowledgment
Peace cannot be attained
Suffering will never end
In blaming others for our pain

Eyes cannot know beauty
If eyes do not know tears
A good life cannot be lived
If people live in a state of fear

Sometimes the incline is sheer
Unsurpassable and steep
But the words that we use
Become the bed in which we sleep

The words that we use
Become the lives that we live
Woe to all judgmental souls
That are not willing to forgive

Sadness comes to the people
That live in deep resentment
In that state of being
They will not know contentment

Too much focus on the future
And too much focus on the past
They are estranged from the Now
So true happiness will not last

Less mindful and more mind full
The serenity of life is missed
Without the acceptance of the past
They will not know real bliss

There are people in the world
Causing harm is their mission
Others inflict pain upon us
Because we give them permission

Their opinion means more than ours
Our opinion is degraded
And people often wonder why
The joy of life has faded

If we put ourselves before others
Then our stability will increase
If we always put ourselves second
Then we will never know peace

No one can really harm us
Unless we allow them to do so
No one can really harm us
If we go with our own flow

Some people don't take proper ownership
For the roles that they have played
People will surly make excuses
To justify the things that they say

We have no right to blame others
Regardless of their stabbing knives
We must take full ownership
And take control of our lives

Without immeasurable pressure
A diamond cannot be formed
A heart cannot open
If it first has not been torn

IT IS THAT SIMPLE

I have all the time in the world
For those on the path of ascension
I will give my energy and life essence
For those aiming for higher dimensions

For those that are clearing their shadows
You are now and will always be acknowledged
I have unlimited and unrestricted compassion
For those on the path of knowledge

All that I am and all that I will become
I offer my assistance to those that care
I have no more time for those that don't align
Or for those that are resistant or full of fear

It makes no difference what it is
If I meet resistance, it will be removed
I have no more time for those of blind belief
Or for people that have things to prove

Do not pull on my energy at any time
Because my response will be overly extreme
I have said similar things many times before
Don't pretend that you don't know what I mean

Do not make negative comments on my posts
Because that would be a big mistake
I will remove you permanently from my friend list
And one negative comment is all it will take

I have all of the time in the world for people of light
I have great respect for people of spirit
But I am ruthless when it comes to haters
It will always be this way and that is it

I will not bow down to others expectations
I will never step away from my principles
But I will step away from harmful people
That's the way it is, it is that is simple
