Determination

To feel so much isn't always good  
Their sorrowful thoughts are flowing  
There are many people out there
That don't know where they're going
 
They hold on to what is unwanted
And refuse to take responsibility  
They hold onto self defeating habits
To the best of their abilities  
 
Harmful emotions arise rapidly  
Filled with resentment and regret  
Without sincere forgiveness
People will repeatedly be upset  
 
Negative energy increases  
Moving further away from the light  
Inner calmness turns to rage
Pure kindness turns to spite  
 
It's like a flame that burns everyone
It is the cause of so much strife  
It is sharp, honed and keen  
It's like a double edged knife  
 
Only through heartfelt forgiveness  
And the acceptance of what was done
Can we progress beyond the darkness
To see the rising of the inner sun  
 
Those that are not ready to let go
Will not see the truth in these words  
They have yet to reach the required vibration  
And much of this will seem quite absurd
 
Our minds are responsible for our joy  
They are also responsible for our pain  
From my personal perspective of life  
It is exactly the way I have explained  
 
If people will not accept the water of spirit
Then their anger will relentlessly burn  
My focus is not on those that resist
Only those that are ready to learn
 
CONTINUE TO EVOLVE AND EXPAND  
 
Hard days bring experience
Worse days brings bad luck
Good days bring happiness
Everyday is worth living so don't give up
 
Success may be just around the corner
Have faith that you will make it through
Trust in the goodness of the world
But most of all, have faith in you  
 
Always remember to be who your are
Look after your holistic health
If you want to heal other in your life
You must first heal yourself
 
Other people may look down on you  
Simply because they don't understand  
Let them believe what they want to  
And continue to evolve and expand  
 
BRAINWASHED  
Most people are born  
To do as they are told.  
Mentally educated  
But emotionally cold.  
 
No mutual respect
Empath or compassion.  
Taught to live their lives
 In an apathetic fashion.  
 
For most of the people
It is the only way to live.
They take as much as they can
And have nothing to give.
 
They go in search  
Of material happiness
But all they receive
Is spiritual emptiness.
 
The wisdom of the soul  
Is progressively suppressed.
And replaced with  
Worthless information to digest.  
 
They're misdirected
Abused and feel hopeless.
It's a form of psychosis  
Induced by hypnosis.
 
The people are treated  
As if they are possessions.  
The system is a system  
Of heinous oppression.  
 
Filling humanity's minds  
With doubt and confusion.
The vision of society
It  is an illusion.
 
You gave me peace
When I needed you
You gave me hope
To get me through
 
You gave me hugs
I appreciated that a lot
The feeling of a hug
Was something I had forgot.  
 
You gave me kisses
That made me shiver
You gave me loving
That made me quiver
 
It was a pleasure  
To see you when I woke.  
I loved it that you listened
Every time that I spoke
 
I fell for you hard
But still it wasn't enough
Your family dynamics
Was unstable and tough
 
But still I moved forward
To be supporting in any way.  
You were to be my wife
On some future day.  
 
You enabled me to dream
Of a future together
I was so foolish to think
Of us together forever.  
 
When I saw you that night
I lost my joyful smile
Why did you do that?
Forever become just a while.  
 
I wasn't as drunk as you were.  
And I remember it clearly  
And what I saw you doing
It hurt me so dearly
 
I tried to forget it all
I tried to just forgive
But I will never forget
For as long as I live
 
You broke my heart
And then I broke our connection
If I ever see you again.  
You'll know nothing but rejection.  
 
I don't hold a grudge
But I'll never trust you again.  
What you did to me hurt
I still feel a twinge of pain
 
That's because I'm thinking of you
But I won't for very long.  
I had so much hope for us
But for me, you were wrong.  
 
I don't shed tears for you now
I don't miss you like I did
I have come out of that shell
From where I once hid
 
You probably won't even see this
But I'll write it any way.  
Don't contact me again
Not today or any other day.  
 
I can still see you in my mind
But I cannot feel you in my heart
I wish for you the very best
In your life and on your path
 
WE CAN'T MAKE THEM THINK  
 
We can provide the food of spirit
But we cannot make others eat
We can show others how to be balanced
But we can't make them balance their feet
 
We can teach people how to fight  
But it is up to them to stay alive  
We can show people how protect themselves
But that's no guarantee that they'll survive
 
We can give love to others
But we can't make them feel
We can offer them healing energies
But we can't force them to heal
 
We can converse with true understanding
But we can't make others understand
We can show them the Earth energies
Be we can't connect them to the land
 
We can tell them of the higher realms  
But we can't connected them to it
We can show them how to adapt
But we can't make them do it  
 
When people live in perpetual judgment
They put reasonability upon the shelf  
They spend all of their time blaming others
But the only person to blame is themselves
 
The choices they have made  
Determines the lives that they live
There's no guarantee that people will listen
No matter how much love you may give
 
We can give the water of truth
But we can't make others drink
We can offer people ageless philosophy
But we can't make them think
