Philosophical evolution

As my mind soars to extreme heights,
like a Phoenix taking flight...

I'm grateful.

Ever grateful for the lessons of my mistakes.
Like Churchill, I failed but never applied the brakes.

I replaced hope and expectation with action
using Shakespeare and Nietzsche's maxim's

I discovered motivation
using Maslow's pyramid of education

And effective communication
through Coveys' observation's

I keep my shadow-self to a minimum
with the assistance of Jung's discipline

My perceptions are objective and intelligent
thanks, in part, to Huxley's evidence

My ego is properly managed
through Freud's advantage

And with the wisdom that's written in my mind
There's always more to find, thanks to Socrates' line

If you wish to know more, be my guest
Just knock on the door, and we'll be on our quest

I definitely think I could have kept going! Lol. Huxley's doors of perception is perhaps my most mischievous ability...I like to use that ability to play devil's advocate and give people alternative viewpoints that often don't fit their paradigms. It frustrates them. And I laugh. Lol. Thanks for the read, D Xoxo
