But now I can walk again

Those tiny little stones all over the road
So damn cute and small in their appearance
Beautiful colors, beautiful stories told
They will talk and pretend to be dreamers
"Hey, what do you say? How can we mean harm?
We're here to make the road the one and better"
"Oh yes, I can't deny your well built charm
But I always find you in my shoes later"
Nice to walk around, sometimes nice to see
But to touch you, will it ever be nice?
I want to run and for that I need to be free
Not to stop or stumble not even once or twice
Walk barefoot? You will get into me right then
Get into my skin wishing to get deep under
To reach inside, to feel my blood and pain
Hide quiet behind every flower in the garden
So we managed now to wear some protection
You take shoes, so you think you save after all
But yet they try to find a damaged section
A split in me to get to bones, hit the goal
Hurts to look above for you, to look up kills
So you want us closer, want my face on ground
I used to fall, cry desperate about how it feels
But now I can walk again and I step around
