Sixty to Seventy-Nine

Here in Daytona all the cars look the same
Ony difference are the colors and names
Wish I could go back...
When a Superbird was running the track

Sixty to seventy-nine was the highlife of time
Car, music and girls
Were the best in the world
It's all been in decline since seventy-nine
So take me back... take me back in time

Music today, has nothing to say
Computer generated, lip sync song
Where did it all go wrong
What happened to Fleetwood Mac
Skynyrd on an eight track...

Sixty to seventy-nine was the highlife of time
Car, music and girls
Were the best in the world
It's  all been in decline since seventy-nine
So take me back... take me back in time

Girls today have no class
You can see through them like piece glass
They want to be in control
They never play the role
What ever happened to a girls in bell-bottoms jeans
Blue eye shadow, and made the seen
You could hold an open door
Without them trin' to even the score

Sixty to seventy-nine was the highlife of time
Car, music and girls
Were the best in the world
It's all been in decline since seventy-nine
So take me back... that me back in time
