A POEM

"A POEM"
   
A place that no one likes to go is the place that I can go,  
A place to be alone,  
A place that I can let go,  
But it is a dangerous place to be,  
Alone at night,  
There I should not be,  
But tell me,  
How else do I set free,  
Deep down I have much to confess,  
Apart from a nightmare that never ends,  
For I really miss my family and friends,  
People live, people die, people leave,  
Is it wrong for me to be upset?  
To be angry or to be sad?  
So many feelings inside,  
Does that make me bad?  
A monster?  
Reckless?  
At night I cry and I could tell you exactly why,  
You see,  
Please don't be mad at me,  
I still struggle to accept that maybe I finally found somewhere I fit,  
And to call my home right where I sit,  
It's not something I'm used to,  
I just need you to be patient with me,  
Though I don't expect you to understand,  
Please,  
Just take my hand,  
I know loving me can be hard,  
So take a break when you need it,  
I beg you though,  
Just don't go far,  
For it is because of you that I have come this far,
