To begin
Clutching a switch, that will warm her,
Once the fine red lines singe
Her skin to darker hues;
Before it travels the distance,
Between being held in the air
and the descent onto flesh.
she will pine for the weight
of the pale, stripped bark-less rods.
That allow thoughts to dissolve.
and dissolve and dissolve.
like a series of forever promises.,
Until he steps forward
to begin.

Her skin to darker hues;
Before it travels the distance,
Between being held in the air
and the descent onto flesh.
she will pine for the weight
of the pale, stripped bark-less rods.
