Best take your prized possession
See not so unlucky now hey..

put over muscular shoulder
And taken to be bedded)
Unhappiness to happiness
A shared commodity in creativity.

I love the start of these verses - you could probably just leave it with the first few stanzas - which really do stand very well alone.
