Familiar Stranger
When I look into the mirror this is what see,
A familiar stranger staring right back at me,
She ain't so pretty on the inside or out,
People think they know her, have her figured out,
But they don't know what she's truly all about,
That familiar stranger does nothing but cry,
That familiar stranger knows nothing but lies,
As she sits there staring at me,
I wonder who she could be,
We look a lot alike,
But she looks like she has died,
As much on the outside as on the in,
That familiar stranger knows not where to begin,
That familiar stranger looks alot like me,
That familiar stranger who could she be?
A familiar stranger staring right back at me,
She ain't so pretty on the inside or out,
People think they know her, have her figured out,
But they don't know what she's truly all about,
That familiar stranger does nothing but cry,
That familiar stranger knows nothing but lies,
As she sits there staring at me,
I wonder who she could be,
We look a lot alike,
But she looks like she has died,
As much on the outside as on the in,
That familiar stranger knows not where to begin,
That familiar stranger looks alot like me,
That familiar stranger who could she be?
