- BLACK GOAT -
I feel them crawling over my flesh
A silken web slowly entombing me
How long can I live this masquerade
Under the pretense of concealing gloom?
How can I celebrate the becoming serenades
Haunting melodies of foreboding doom?
It’s what I know
What I am
Know what I am
Fucking made of
I’m steeped in piss
Vinegar
Bitter venom
Running through me
Nothing and no one
Can replace what I’ve lost
I hold on tightly
To all that I have left
I’ve no skeletons
In closets to haunt me
I am the black goat
That haunts everyone
There’s no moon and there’s no stars
And now I am reaching for the scars
I feel them crawling over my flesh
A silken web slowly entombing me
In the blister
Infection
Heartless whispers
Promise nothing
It’s what I know
What I am
Know what I am
Fucking made of
How long can I live so desperate
Under the pretense of the howling wolves?
How can I survive the harshest temperates
Constantly riding forth on desolate hooves?
Nothing and no one
Can replace what I’ve lost
I hold on tightly
To all that I have left
I’ve no skeletons
In closets to haunt me
I am the black goat
That haunts everyone
There’s no moon and there’s no stars
And now I am reaching for the scars
I feel them crawling over my flesh
A silken web slowly entombing me
Hell does not hold horrors
For one intimate with pain
I’ve become one with torment
Just to bear your burden
I’ve seen moons of malice and temptation
On the road with no chance of salvation
Forty years of high noons and four past midnights
If you want damnation you better fucking take it
Nothing and no one
Can replace what I’ve lost
I hold on tightly
To all that I have left
I’ve no skeletons
In closets to haunt me
I am the black goat
That haunts everyone
There’s no moon and there’s no stars
And now I am reaching for the scars
I feel them crawling over my flesh
A silken web slowly entombing me
If you want damnation
Fucking take it
