Apprehendet diabolum in cordibus vestris
Quia non est nisi unus
Qui vero amat vos semper
We are denied among the clouds
The sun that warms our withered hearts
Look to the skies for an answer
Desperate words fall on deaf ears
A darkness shrouds our everyday lives
An existence upon a rusted knife
Twisting its serrated edge in us
Breaking the bond of family, God and trust
Seize the devil in your hearts
Because there is only one
Who loves you always
Carpe Diaboli
Give us freewill and take away hope
Nightmare insurgent, we can never cope
An empty shell we’ve learned to deny
Forging poisoned splinters within our minds
We never know a moment’s peace
Trailing the chains tethered to us
There’s no escape that I can find
So fuck it all and burn the world

I think there wouldn't be so much doubt in the world if we had truths. Alas, all we have is faith and for some that's not enough so we have to find solace where we can.
