Late Night Roof Top Thoughts

Is it bad to wish on shooting stars you haven't  seen
If you worship a god and believe
Isn't that the same thing
The plane fuel made an x in the sky
The moon made the night bright
I had a whole conversation up there
Staring at what might be a constellation if you asked someone with a telescope
Staring at the planes blinking
And babbling on acting like someone was listening
maybe they were
I'm not really sure
All I know is that I've been walking intoxicatingly silently acting like ive been in a cliche indie film all day
And now I wish I really was

Maybe then I would be less lonely
