Taking Flight

Meditating, habitually contemplating
My third eye is unblocked, I am not a guru, but I am demonstrating
A spirit flying so high
My fingers are skimming the sky
Flying to the rhythmic beat of the earths drum
Peace, love and joy, yea I am getting some
Rejecting pain, sadness and hate
Feeding my being, meditating, habitually contemplating, as I knowingly wait
Closing the door to the things of my past
Strengthening my inner core, building a self-love meant to last
Flying like a beautiful phoenix
It’s so magical, the Gods can sing to this
Looking down from a mystical elevation
Opening myself to wisdom, embracing her penetration
I am smiling, lighting up my third eye
Climbing up mountains, just to take off and fly
Lovingly caressing those who I always gave to first
I still love you, but I need to drink to my fill, satisfying my unquenchable thirst
