how could i know if what
i've lost is worth reclaiming
if i didn't look at what i had
when it was mine
it took a little time to see the past
was not sustaining
i'd been constricted by a
vision ill defined
another angel cries as she
collapses at my feet
her shoulders bear the weight
of my imagined crimes
she says that i've spent way too long
looking over my shoulder
and now i'm due to walk
the other side of time
( that's the last of the edited ink lads and lasses.
thanks for not snoring too loud. Newies from here )

It's still relevant brother. Apologies on the late response. My old iPad took its last update and Siri spoke in tongues for the last time. Don't have a 'puter so had to source a replacement. End rant Thank you as always brother.

I agree with PIKM, any write from you TS is always thought provoking.
Great deal of humility and sorrow in this...but also personal growth.

If my thoughts are anything, they are provoking lovely. I'm tired of of arguing with 'em. If they're not using the truth as hammer they're finishing my sentences. Rude I reckon. Always good to be read by you Vee. Thank you. 😝

Re. static
At certain times in our lives, introspection is beneficial.....even with--and in spite of--the intense emotional struggles that one frequently encounters during this process..
Within these lines, i can sense the poignancy of your own personal journey into self-examination.....along with the difficulty to honestly recognize certain aspects of your life that may have prevented you from moving forward--so to speak.
And Mo Chara..... there has never been any piece that you posted here, that i have ever considered boring! Your work affords your readers so many opportunities to just let their minds wander comfortably through numerous phases of entertainment.
i am eagerly anticipating, what i hope will be, many future poems! xo

Not moving forward Enchantress. My head hates me and I hate it back. This poem should no longer be so relevant. I may be growing in someway but growth without purpose is obesity I believe. Well it would if i believed. Ending another ramble. Thank you as always my friend.

Not seen you around these parts for a while, it was a pleasant surprise to see your comment on my piece.
Thinking is something that needs to be reigned in more often than not, it can be so destructive and is overrated. Good to read you again. Great stuff. :)

You're right. Thinking can be dangerous. I'm a prime case. Lol. Always a pleasure to hear from you Miss M. Thanks for that. 🙂
