- AFTER YOUR SOLSTICE -
Your rose lays upon my tomb
Dew drips from petals 'neath the moon
I wish I'd never been born
But remained inhuman and less deranged
Blood splattered, trapped in her web
Long before I was dead
The monster in the mirror
Strangling me with the thorns of my sins
The pale ghost light
Delights the night
The devil tongue
Echoing within the copse
Where corpses hung
I wish I could just recall
Your picture on the wall
When two hearts were dismembered
The black lightning screams across haunted skies
Darkness descends
Torture begins
The angels sing
Who there heralds the worst
In phantom dreams?
I walk a baneful track
With Judas at my back
Doom has begun
Beneath bleak suns
From whence you promised
I curse a vainless life
With cruelty for a knife
Show me the stars
Inked with your scars
After your solstice
The shutters rattle within your tempest
A tragic song I cannot resist
Singing the hymns of love I've suffered
I find myself one with your thunder
Your rose lays upon my tomb
Dew drips from petals 'neath the moon
I wish I'd never been born
But remained inhuman and less deranged
Nothing remains
Except my chains
Am I the cursed
Burdened by the dread of life
Scribed in the verse?
I sing a tasteless song
Made up of wasted bones
Show me the stars
Inked with your scars
From whence you promised
I walk a baneful track
With Judas at my back
Eclipse the sun
I am undone
After your solstice
