Barbedwire around my Lips and Heart.

Built a tall wall around me
A fortress drawbridge raised
Armoured doors under lock and key
Haunted by past broken hearted days.

Out of view out of sight
I hide away among the shadows
In a endless tormenting night.

Shards of heart lay in the rubble of forsaken  dreams
Laid upon the cold dirt ridden floor
Heart burst at the seems.

Trust once as strong as steel
Now turned to rust.

I bare the pain of blood soaked barbed wire
Upon my lips and around my heart
So ripped apart
Lowered my drawbridge like a fool so many times
Never seemed to learn
Let my heart rule my mind
Made me blind.

So I lick my wounds once more
Behind those locked fortress doors
Deemed to be alone
For ever more.
