Have the Birds Forgot their Song.

Have the birds forgot their song
My garden used to be full of feathered friend
But now there's none.

I used to love to watch groups of sparrows
Chirp and play
And hear the cocksure blackbird with melodic song
At the end of day
The approaching dawn symphony
The perky robin in the tree.

Have the birds forgot their song
My garden used to be full of feathered friend
But now there's none.
