Liquor

Ahem...my words seem to slur when I talk.
I see you heavily downing that poison.
You say you good but stumble when you walk.
Emotions drowned out by this false make everything go away version.
I don't wanna come home to you outlined in chalk.
Maybe the pills can reverse you're enlarged heart.
But let's be honest you never even planned on stopping from the start.
Never have I imagined that how early you might depart.
If this keeps up and your gone who gonna be my niece way out of the dark.
It seems the more I say the farther my word's grow apart.
I can cry a river but someone turned off the faucet.
I should be sad but you won't listen I think I done finally lost it.
I been dealing with this for twenty plus years.
When you're liver health disappears and that hearse appears.
Why does Tupac have to play in my head so many tears.
This is the very reason why I don't drink.
Can't get past my first one too busy looking at the bottom of the glass.
Maybe I should do the same so I won't have to think.
Wishing upon a star hoping you can reconcile your past.
I can't write anymore too busy smearing up my ink....
