Judgement on character.
Can you not listen to the eulogy,
but only hear the calumny scorn.
Used to hide my nerved affirmation
of good character.
Does it hurt to be well thought off,
Is that an odious thing?
My dogmatism followed by an onslaught,
Of my own person.
Is it not obvious i,
have trouble expressing love.

I don't know for sure why this poem struck me but I feel like this is as real as poetry gets. You raise multiple points while at the same time saying very little. This poem makes me think about each line and each time I read it they seem to be saying something different
On a side note though there are a few typos if you have the time you might want to edit those just to make it look fully professional (forgive me if the 'typos' are intentional)
