walkers

 
spirit mortal walkers
cannot function as earthers.

there are the mortals
who exist between
the spirit world
and that of the flesh
  including addicts
  alcoholics and the insane

earth mortal walkers
live in 'terra-society' [terratiety] with ease

but those tweeners cannot.
  they're a tremendous sadness
     to the earthers
who vainly and hopelessly
try to cure the spirit walkers -
  to remake them into
  the image of the earthers

this rarely works
  but the tweener is squared up
  into a stern mold
  stood clean bare and freq' drugged
told to go walk in earther's shoes
  in that weird-cadence-earther-beat

as for the earthers...

they look down the length of their noses
  at us
as only earthers can see
a certain hard/sharp demarcation line

but for the spirits
  for the tweeners and the jumpers
that line grows
  the damned thing
     lives and breathes

widing
  depthing
     yeaning...
an event horizon so massive
  it mirrors the speck
     and the enormous smallness
        of the observer

and we go -
spirit mortal walker
earth mortal walker
  each alone
  unto our deaths
  unto the unknowns
until then -
  we are flesh only
  within this strange territiety
