I wasn't twinned with love,
didn't align with lucky stars

Astronomical happenings
not seen In my hemisphere

So I made it to be true
even yearned for

Yet my journey found
fate to be a welcome
traveling companion.

As my mask grows heavy
with the burden of true
loves wish, I'm left to
ponder this change
that fate has so kindly
shown when our paths
do meet.

I pushed away loves temptation,
when spending time creating
the planning
rehearsing and executing

Yet my mask stays as always
Though you knew this anyway
