Perfect Moment
we lie together,
face to face
as close as possible
arms and legs entwined
pressing together every
inch of skin we can manage
simultaneously
clinging to each other
two sinners who hold
redemption for the other
like we're drowning and
each is a life line to the other
you kiss me,
slowly,
deeply...
I am part of you and
you are part of me
forming the essence
of each other
we complete one another
I can feel myself drifting
falling asleep
from your breathing I can know
that you’re following me there
our lips still sealed
I breathe in your air
you breathe in mine
in that perfect moment
where my mind cannot
remember where I end
and you begin
we become one soul..
inseparable

This is truly beautiful.. I caught a spelling issue, "breathe," not "breath" in lines 8 and 9 up from bottom, but the beauty of the rest of the piece overcomes it.
Thank you:) I have corrected the mistake. Would not have noticed had you not pointed it out...English is my second language and although I can talk and read it as good as a first I did not do so well in school with it (lol) so spelling and things sometimes sound right in my head but isn't correct on paper.. :)
