Interrogation (My Conviction Part One)

To know you are alone
and everyone wants you dead
no one should feel this pain
it’s not easy to just lay in bed

I find myself deep within
the existence of my shadow
to find out I don't fit in
I could escape through an open window

Only to be hunted by the new
rather than the old
remains of the person I once knew
so let my thoughts unfold

I know things no one else should know
but I can't speak of them so
I wash them away as my thoughts try to flow
lying still as I watch them go

So many adventures I wish to take
non I can really bare
this is not a piece of cake
at least I know life's not fair

The walls are thick like blood
but white like sheep
almost a cotton flood
it’s too bright so I cannot sleep

Accepting my sentence would prove me wrong
for the one you know
was guilty all along
my fate is sealed so i must go
