Lying

Tonight I feel like crying
I'm just so sick of lying
To my friends and to myself
My life's a living hell

I hold the tears at bay
So that I have the strength to say
I'm happy, yes I'm fine
I practice all the time

You claim you know that somethings wrong
Those aren't tears, no I just yawned
Not depressed, no I'm just tired
My happiness was fired

I don't know what to do
I just can't tell the truth
I'll show off my winning smile
And be 'happy' for awhile
