PD PART I: DREADFUL APHRODITE
A COLLECTIVE COLLABORATION WITH JAMERS MITCHELL
A swan song carried on lamenting winds
As ashes still smolder from her pyre
Fealty without regret forged in tears
Her vision licks the flame of desire
Morbid curiosity
And immortal travesty
Leads me to dreamless hollows
Sleeping enshrined in dark vanity
Forget all you think you know
From paltry splendors
To murders of crows
The winter chill turns to dread
Aphrodite sleeps
With the dead
Her deathly face resting beneath the moon
Ghostly suitors touch upon the depraved
Whispering as if the deceased will hear
Writhing from the shadows blind and enslaved
Untold in her agony
Myths of untamed ecstasy
Maim me like a dreadful beast
Lead me into her calamity
Forget all you think you know
From paltry splendors
To murders of crows
The winter chill turns to dread
Aphrodite sleeps
With the dead
I sacrifice
And kill to the last
Refuse to leave her
Dead with the past

Thanks, my friend. While this is a collaboration, it's not a collab in the general sense, more of a collab over time. We will each be submitting parts at different times, sometimes separately, sometimes in general. One thing's for certain: there's a larger story to play.
