Something malevolent
Coalescing in the madness
I'm straining against my chains
To break away into darkness
Ripping apart masquerades
Where the cold are laid beyond the grave
Condemned to wander the grey
Streets desolate paved tombstone highway
Wasteland apocalypse
Stretches into leagues bereft
Of mercy's cruel kiss
At the end when nothing's left
'Neath your lover's fist
Surely tasting one last breath
When her poisoned lips
Brush against the grip of death
Mother Mayhem sees
The culture of doom, wrathful
Push against reality
Made in cruelty, distasteful
And nothing will be the same
Who places the blame? Reliving shame
Can't refuse to play the game
With such retching pain in rending flame
Wasteland apocalypse
Stretches into leagues bereft
Of mercy's cruel kiss
At the end when nothing's left
'Neath your lover's fist

Fog shades the headlights
Deepening the night
The crown of nothingness
Far beyond the light
