A year or so ago on Mt. Mitchel, a part of the Blue Ridge, lightening struck and there was a massive fire. There was much loss and replanting that ensued. I can accept that as nature's selection. However, I cannot accept a bloody arsonist destroying hundreds of acres of beautiful and sacred land. God help if they catch him.
It's raining in the West. Hopefully it's enough to snuff out the fires completely. If not FEMA is coming in.
