Sometimes Nearing Midnight
sometimes nearing midnight nothing gives clarity
abstract hues of lunar light shine through windows
dancing on the walls opposing
tempting the mind to slip and shimmer with them
sometimes nearing midnight sensations abound
illuminated by a jealous moonlight
sweeping over porcelain skin
catching breath with tempted hands
sometime nearing midnight heartbeats thunder
beating so hard the world stands in wonder
