- - - WINTER COUNTESS FUNERAL - - -
Her coffin shines brighter than the darkness
Surely embracing Carpathian peaks
That echo with mournful song of wolves
Calling unto the likes of wretched me
I once upon a time witnessed
The beauty of her disgrace
Draped in death tortured nightly
In blackened hues and lace
Beget by silver slivers
Stabs through curtains of decay
Taste bouquets of copper wine
From wrists of the dismayed
The immaterial wages of time
She was once mine at the gates of her shrine
Glorified in her beauty beast
Beneath immortal full moons
Where those false gods fear to tread
Lay inside her sacred tomb
Carrion know our swan song
Legends know what we’ve become
Sacrifice tethers of fate
Never to be undone
And with every cloven step
And every vengeful breath
I am the burden of her game
Love me, deathly
And remember her name
They say nothing lasts forever
But love eternal still burns
As two undead hearts beat cold
Once a night as screws turn
Her silhouette cast nightmares
Upon ghostly lantern light
Phantasmagoric visions
We, the serpents of the night
Descend on the eve of lover’s retreat
Mountains of madness and the grief beneath
Without her I am but a wretch
Condemned to suffer the grip
Of timeless spectre embrace
Draped in the flesh that rips
Lamentations fall on dead ears
I can spy a veil of ghosts
Harrowing the deadfall bells
Who does toll the most?
I hunger for Nosferatian lips
Obsidian eyes stare from the shadows
That’s deeper than the darkest abyss
Feel the passion coming up from below
And with every cloven step
And every vengeful breath
I am the burden of her game
Love me, deathly
And remember her name
Her wight never waits
For your time to come
And with every cloven step
And every vengeful breath
I am the burden of her game
Love me, deathly
And remember her name
May mine own grave
Rest at her cemetery gate
