Silent pain

It's a feeling one cannot ignore,
It's a reality one cannot forget,
It' unbearable,
It's silent pain.

I am pining,
the longing is killing me,
anxiety knocks in my thoughts,
sleepless nights and early days,
it's a torture I cannot get rid of,
It's silent pain.

It's a dream that I don't want to leave,
It's a shadow that hunts me,
It's a uninvited meeting for two,
It's  silent pain.

It's killing me,
It's an experience I wouldn't want to forget,
