SHE DESERVES CHOCOLATES, HONOUR AND LAUGH
Why would you think I would henna my face when I learn of her misfortunes?
You think I call upon twisted fate on her when I consult the gods?
You are badly mistaken to think my wine glass will overflow
On learning of her wounds and aches.
I untangled my hand so both(of you) can thrive
My heart shrieked when I heard you crown her with such strife.
Stop this weakness lock chapters that are done!
Concentrate on painting her who's now your wife.
Your name and mine will never again be read on the same canvas.
When you fail to pay tribute to her splendor
You break Allah's will.
Can't you see the soil in your name when she grief concerning you?
By heavens am telling if you desert her who you gave my right(s)
My eyes will forever refuse to acknowledge your sight.
She deserves chocolates,honour and laugh.
(I originally wrote this in Arabic, that is why the English in some sentences may sound funny.I tried hard to translate without losing/changing the meaning or the wording)
