Late Night Walk

The night wraps around me
Cold, I see my breath
The moon is shrouded above the trees
Yellow behind clouded mist
Each inhale breeds new cancer
To lungs blackened thick
Each steps quiet cascade
Masks scratching blooded wrist

The night wraps around me
Autumn breeze , drunk kiss
The lights of cars a distant thought, free
Piercing through dark streets abyss
Each exhale taken form clouds
Of my demons spit
Eyes defiant, take blame
October night of lonesome bliss
