 I can feel the pureness of your heart
I can see in your eyes your love for me, no fear
I’m not bulletproof but I would take one for you
you are the light to my dark, you are the music that I hear

I like the way you look at me, it gives me hope
That the struggles I go through are not in vain
The Sunrise has more meaning now
even if it means I’m singing a sad song in the rain

I feel like I am done in this world sometimes
I cannot do any more good with my evil soul
Then I see you and I can feel your smile deep in my heart
it tries to pull me back out of my personal spiraling black hole

Why would you even want to love a guy like me?
I am a worthless clown to a girl like you
