Come Sail Away Far Beyond
Come sail away far beyond the Great Pacific Garbage Patch,
to where there is no uranium and mercury in the fish we catch.
No billions of pounds of plastic to kill a million seabirds each year,
the last gasps of hundreds of thousands of marine mammals we won't have to hear.
Come sail away in dreams when iron men in wooden ships sailed the seven seas,
far from the sick and dying oceans that are now the harsh reality.

Very powerful statement, it is so sad that our reality has come to this. You did a wonderful job evoking the readers emotions, and it was beautifully written.
