Today, tomorrow mocks yesterday

In sullen sorrow I stand up to slay

This reminds me very much of Sylvia Plath's style, that sudden, subtle repetition of sounds that come through the lines. I like to call it "mad girl repetition" for affectionate reasons. I love these short poems, the ones that can make you think about something in just a few lines. "All things fail to stay" is such a killer title.
