allurement at sleep

here i lay awake watching you      
your roseate lips are parted in a deep slumber    
your flawless body at rest and in passivity    
i recognize there's no where i'd rather be    
     
a breezy pleased smile carves my blood stained lips    
my entire body goes listless, satisfied    
i lay back and enjoy your allurement at sleep    
i find my wounded and anguished soul at peace    

wishing that because you fell asleep with me    
your nightmares and torment would      
vanish just for tonight
