Eternal flames burn my soul for my hear to shine
Never to fade out, standing strong through the time
Trenches in the night these demons trying to hide

Surrender your life just to pay the toll
Ominous strangers turned friends playing their roll

Witness the end of all that you know
Hindered by society, so what do you have to show
Yearning to feed your soul that inner light to glow

Siding with him brings riches and the pain that follows
Hounded by the dark so give way to sorrows
Overdose on the truth and you will die in heaven
Underestimated your power to rise, no leaven
Lured by the ones called your sacred brethren
Deceitfully thrown into death…lion’s den

I pray to God that this premonition was untrue

Looking down at bloodstained hands of so many I’ve slew
I look up at the sky and see the storm approaching
Vertically I stand in the rain quietly moping
