Marionettes Don't Resist
When you sit back in the shadows remaining silent
While the environment around you is being violent
You are basically giving them your implied consent
For such an evil world to thrive and continue to exist
Just because it isn't happening to you doesn't make it cool
The pen is mightier than the sword when it's properly used
How can any man or woman consider themselves in tune with GOD
But not attempt to do their part to eradicate the demons of evil hearts
Children of today, seeing these things on display, innocence are lost
That should be reason enough for upstanding adults to join the cause
If half the attention and energy used to condemn those who protest
Was instead used to stop the abuse that caused things to get like this
Then just maybe a more peaceful world of bliss could actually exist
Unfortunately, the messages being broadcast is that we shouldn't resist
Those saying this are nothing more than marionettes for the wealthy 1%

I like the way you make your point
In the main, correct you are, although I must dispute your claim that "the pen is mightier than the sword"
Every law written requires the backing of bigger or more numerous swords

Thank you for your feedback. I say that the pen is mightier when used properly because a person's words can travel much further than their sword can. Your sword can only physically reach as far as your arms can but your words can travel infinitely. Yes, to strategically win a war you need as much intellect as you need brute strength/force but powerful words can at times convince your enemy that he/she is fighting for the wrong side. So I'm speaking from more of a philosophical aspect as opposed to a physical aspect. Thanks again for your compliment and input.
