Spider Robots
(collab of Bliss, Shaman, and Prophet)
Spider robots crawling under my door
Scanning my eyes
Sending my information to the satellites
Who knows where it goes from there
These things are
Scanning us daily now
Use to be monthly
Then weekly
Now daily
If this happens in the next hour
I'll let you know
My room mates complain
The light
Is not what they thought
It would be like
Their minds blink red
Being scanned
Kills sleep
There's crying
And Gnashing of teeth
In the land of the blind
The one eyed man is king
Hide your identity when they come,
They come, They are coming
and they will know, for they
have every eye on file,
They crawl on, together
with that knowledge
in their memory banks, in their files
The neighbors fight their fight, despite,
While I fight, "eye" fight, I fight
To keep my identity unknown
In the land of the blind
The one eyed man is king
Since the scannings begun I feel more at home.
Things feel more real
especially at nite
and during everyday activities.
It seems like life is more engaging.
And that the awkward moments
have depleted down to almost none.
Though the other day
when Alex asked for the bill
I had a strong feeling
that it had happened once before.
Dejavu intrigues me more now.
More than ever before.
Maybe it just me.
But Alex seems more alien to me than ever. . .
