Uncharted Land
i travelled upon a great land only to close my eyes,
youre searching, wandering, descending from the sky,
only to try and find me in the far away place.
my eyes close in on you only to see something,
one could not believe.
my feelings fall deeper and my heart starts to sink.
so intensily that i barley move.
anyone could leave and i would be fine but,
you were the one i always thought was mine.
my breathing gets lighter as your voice starts to fade,
roses start to gather and snow begins to shade,
the land of the country, the land of the free,
why would you want to leave me?
i become frail and mysteriously sad,
but then everything always was turning out bad.
you finally see me as i burn so bright,
yet your eyes can not take the unbearable light.
so you turn around and leave this place,
i only wish you saw the gestures of my face.
far away where i was once loved,
now nothing will never be fullfilled.
