It's My Life

I'm doing thing that need to be done
I'm cutting ties
With people
I've known my whole life
They wouldn't understand
This person I am
And I don't need their hypocrisy
I don't want their opinions
On my life
For it is mine to live
So that's what I'm going to start doing  
Living for me
Being happy
No longer being controlled
Or told how I should live
I'm free to be
Who I want to be
And nothing will ever
stand in the way of that again
