Her & Me (Part 2 of 2)
Hey darling
why do you put
attention on me
I can not serve
your desires
don't let me get
too close on you
Wondering
what it is
that you see in me
endless nights of wandering
body marked by years of life
without belongings or any vow
sacrificed my being
to the streets
Wondering
if you can feel
that I forgot where it was
I once came from
and what it was
that I escaped from
rays of long gone triumph
replaced by mystic, silent pain
Wondering
if you can feel
my less than paperthin peace
nothing I have to give
no romance or adventure
wobbling around society
embracing my loneliness
my so called freedom
Feeling
your skin under my old hands
breathing in the natural scent
of your warm skin
mixed with light sweat
brings back intense memories
of mutual happiness
out of another life
Lying still
no need to talk or do
anything
see you fall asleep
opened up my world to you
hear the salvation
in your silent smile
I am free
why do you put
attention on me
I can not serve
your desires
don't let me get
too close on you
Wondering
what it is
that you see in me
endless nights of wandering
body marked by years of life
without belongings or any vow
sacrificed my being
to the streets
Wondering
if you can feel
that I forgot where it was
I once came from
and what it was
that I escaped from
rays of long gone triumph
replaced by mystic, silent pain
Wondering
if you can feel
my less than paperthin peace
nothing I have to give
no romance or adventure
wobbling around society
embracing my loneliness
my so called freedom
Feeling
your skin under my old hands
breathing in the natural scent
of your warm skin
mixed with light sweat
brings back intense memories
of mutual happiness
out of another life
Lying still
no need to talk or do
anything
see you fall asleep
opened up my world to you
hear the salvation
in your silent smile
I am free
