Lessons
A man is born and given fate.
He learns to love and he learns to hate.
He learns to laugh and he learns to yell.
He learns of Heaven and of Hell.
He learns and learns as the years go by.
He realizes just before he dies.
These lessons of life they never subside?
Lessons go on like an endless tide.
So with all the lessons that you have spurned.
When the final flicker of your life has burned. What was the wisdom for which you most yearned?
What is it that you've really learned?
